Dating Product Tester
We’re looking for a socially sharp, highly observant tester to help improve WingAI, an AI dating assistant used by people to write better messages and navigate dating conversations.
You’ll be regularly test the app, review its suggested replies, identify awkward or unnatural experiences, and recommend improvements to the product, UX, and AI-generated responses. You should understand modern dating culture, texting etiquette, flirting, social cues, and what makes a message feel confident, natural, and authentic rather than robotic or cringe.
This is a hands-on product feedback role. You do not need to be a designer or engineer, but you should be comfortable clearly explaining what feels wrong, why it feels wrong, and how you would improve it.
Responsibilities include:
- Test new and existing WingAI features on a mobile device
- Review AI-generated openers, replies, and dating advice
- Identify confusing UX, bugs, friction, and moments where users may drop off
- Suggest more natural, socially aware, and effective responses
- Record screen-share feedback and clearly explain your thought process
- Review real or anonymized dating scenarios and evaluate response quality
- Recommend product ideas based on Gen Z dating habits and social trends
- Work with our product and development team to prioritize improvements
- Participate in occasional calls to discuss findings and brainstorm solutions
You may be a good fit if you:
- Are Gen Z and actively understand current dating and texting culture
- Have strong social awareness and can recognize tone, attraction, awkwardness, and conversational subtext
- Are confident communicating with women and understand what makes flirting feel natural and respectful
- Have used dating apps such as Hinge, Tinder, or Bumble
- Can distinguish between a good message and one that sounds forced, needy, generic, or AI-generated
- Notice small details and can provide specific, actionable feedback
- Are reliable, responsive, and comfortable testing the app consistently
- Have strong written and verbal communication skills
Nice to have:
- Experience testing mobile apps or giving product feedback
- Familiarity with UX, consumer apps, social media, or content creation
- Experience using AI coding tools such as Cursor, Claude, ChatGPT, Replit, or Lovable
- Ability to “vibe code” simple prototypes, UX improvements, or small product features
- Basic familiarity with mobile app development, design tools
