Clearance Research Assistant - National Public Television Series (Remote, Paid, Project-Based)
Want a national broadcast credit on your resume before most of your peers have one?
A six-episode series set for national public television distribution - featuring award-winning guests from film, television, food, and comedy - is looking for a sharp, detail-obsessed research assistant to join the post-production team. You'll build the rights-clearance map for the entire series: every episode, every frame, every music cue. The role carries on-screen credit on all six episodes, direct work with the executive producer and senior producer, and hands-on training in broadcast clearance - the workflow studios and streamers actively hire for.
What you'll do: Screen picture-locked episodes and log every piece of third-party media - archival footage, photographs, artwork, on-screen products and logos, and music cues. Research who owns each item and compile rights-holder contacts. Maintain a clearance log. Flag anything that needs substitution or review. Send out license requests.

- First look at additional roles as the series expands, including marketing and social media
The details: Remote. Approximately 6 hours per week over roughly 10 weeks, flexible around class schedules and exams. Start immediately. Selection includes a short paid trial assignment ($50 paid). The series is not yet publicly announced - finalists sign an NDA before screening materials. Engagement is through Bevinars LLC, a New York–based media company.
