Public Policy Intern

The Consumer Federation of America (CFA) is an association of non-profit consumer organizations established in 1968 to advance the consumer interest through research, advocacy, and education. Today, more than 200 of these groups participate in the federation and govern it through their representatives on the organization’s Board of Directors.

CFA is seeking a talented, motivated graduate or law student intern with an interest in researching data broker practices and the intersection of data privacy and unhealthy food advertising practices. This is a remote position. The internship’s duration will total 350 hours, with the intern working between 20-25 hours a week for 15 weeks. The intern will be compensated $476.00 a week.

To apply for an internship, submit a cover letter and resume to Katie McCann at kmccann@consumerfed.org. Applications are due by Thursday, August 13th. The start date will be Tuesday, September 8th and the internship will close on Friday, December 11th.
