Position Summary:
The starting salary range for this position is $66,072.00 to $78,504.00, with most candidates starting at $66,072.00. This is a full-time, permanent, classified, overtime-eligible position with the Pierce College District. The main work location is Bethel High School and standard work hours are between 10:00am and 7:00pm Monday through Friday. This position reports directly to the Director of P-12 Partnerships and requires regular and consistent attendance. This position is not eligible for telework.

The Bethel Schools Program Specialist works under general direction of P-12 partnerships performing a variety of duties to support equitable access to Pierce College services, coursework, and degree pathways. The position performs general program support functions for the Pierce College at Bethel High School site, serving as the point of contact for students, faculty, and Bethel High School staff during program hours as well as providing direct student support for enrollment and navigation of financial aid, advising, academic, and other Pierce College resources. This role supports smooth operation of the evening instruction program by performing site management tasks including greeting students and monitoring Pierce College student activity (enforcing Pierce College and BHS safety guidelines); helping students with wayfinding; opening and closing classrooms; setting up and putting away signage; assisting students with accessing college/program support, services, and resources; assisting faculty with classroom technology; administering informal student surveys; data collection and entry; report preparation and/or presentations; and collaborating with MarCom to generate promotional material and assist with outreach, webpage, and social media tasks. This position works independently and requires consistent and regular attendance.
