Live Music Videographer Needed for DJ Promo Shoot

I’m looking for a visually skilled videographer to film a live DJ and percussion performance in the Santa Cruz area. My main priority is finding someone who can create polished, dynamic footage that makes musicians look compelling on camera.

Preference will be given to candidates who can complete the shoot and deliver the footage by July 31.

The shoot will take place in one location using the same camera, lighting, and audio setup throughout. We will perform two different DJ/electronic tracks with two live percussionists playing four hand drums.

The desired look is energetic, clean, and performance-focused, including:

Closeups of hands playing the drums

Shots of the DJ controller and live musical adjustments

Medium and wider shots showing both musicians performing together

Camera movement and coverage that follow the groove, breaks, buildups, and drops

The primary deliverable would be all full-resolution footage from the shoot. Please quote video editing separately as an optional service, since I may handle some or all of the final editing myself.

The ability to capture clean audio separately from the camera is strongly preferred. There will be four hand drums, and ideally we would either mic them individually or capture each percussionist cleanly. I have several good microphones available but do not currently have an interface capable of recording all four simultaneously. I will likely handle the detailed audio editing and final mix myself, so access to the separate recorded tracks is important.
