Freelance Beauty Content Creator (TikTok & Instagram)
We are looking for a Freelance Beauty Content Creator to support our growing portfolio of beauty brands through engaging, educational, and trend-driven content across TikTok and Instagram.
This role offers the opportunity to create content across multiple beauty categories, including makeup, self-tanning, glow products, and beauty routines. Content may include tutorials, product demonstrations, educational videos, before-and-after transformations, trend-based concepts, lifestyle content, and creative social media storytelling.
This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about beauty, social media, and content creation, and enjoys helping customers discover new products while building confidence through educational and engaging content.
This is a great opportunity for a part-time or full-time student studying marketing, communications, social media, beauty, or a related field who is looking to gain hands-on industry experience while building a professional portfolio. It is also a great fit for a creative freelancer who enjoys creating beauty content and staying on top of social media trends.
The role will begin with scheduled in-office content days to provide hands-on training, product education, creative collaboration, and content planning. As familiarity with the products, content expectations, and responsibilities grows, there may be opportunities for a more flexible schedule, including completing certain projects remotely.
This is a flexible freelance opportunity. Hours are not fixed; instead, content needs, filming days, and collaboration times will be planned around project priorities and freelancer availability.
Expected Hours: Approximately 10 hours per week.
Responsibilities
- Create short-form video content for TikTok and Instagram Reels
- Create supporting social media content including product photography, flat lays, lifestyle images, and promotional visuals
- Film makeup tutorials, product demonstrations, self-tanning routines, beauty education, and trend-driven content
- Learn product benefits, ingredients, and application techniques to accurately educate customers
- Develop creative concepts based on beauty trends, product launches, and marketing campaigns
- Create content that builds customer confidence while encouraging product discovery and purchase
- Adapt content across multiple social media platforms
- Participate in collaborative filming days with the marketing team and other creators
- Organize and batch-create multiple content concepts during scheduled filming sessions
- Stay current on TikTok, Instagram Reels, and emerging beauty trends
Candidate Requirements
We are looking for someone who is passionate about beauty and enjoys creating engaging digital content.
Ideal candidates have an interest or experience in:
- Makeup
- Self-tanning

Candidates should be comfortable:
- Appearing on camera
- Demonstrating beauty products
- Learning new products and application techniques
- Explaining products in an engaging, approachable, and educational way
- Creating polished vertical video content
Experience creating beauty content is preferred, but a large personal following is not required. We are looking for creativity, strong communication skills, and the ability to create content that connects with customers.
Training will be provided on products, brand messaging, and content expectations.
Equipment & Content Creation Setup
Freelancers should have access to:
- A smartphone capable of recording high-quality video content
- Basic ability to edit and organize content using their preferred tools (mobile editing apps or computer-based software are both acceptable)
