. Fashion Brand Partnerships Intern
What we’re building
We’re building a faster way for ecommerce brands to understand what is helping—or hurting—their online stores.
Brands spend enormous amounts of time creating products, campaigns, and content, but it can still be surprisingly difficult to know which website changes will actually improve the customer experience and drive more sales. We’re building a platform that helps brands find promising improvements, test them quickly, and make better decisions about what to put live.
For this role, your world will be fashion, apparel, footwear, jewelry, accessories, resale, and emerging consumer brands.
What you’ll do
You’ll help us build relationships with fashion brands and the people behind them.
On a random week, you might:
- Find an emerging brand with a beautiful product but a confusing storefront.
- Research the founder, head of ecommerce, growth lead, or agency behind the brand.
- Write an outreach message that feels observant and human—not copied from a sales template.
- Start conversations over email, LinkedIn, campus networks, events, or introductions.
- Join discovery calls and learn what brands actually struggle with.
- Develop a point of view on what fashion brands care about online.
- Keep track of conversations and follow up without letting good relationships disappear.
- Help create pitches, one-pagers, brand lists, partnership ideas, and category-specific messaging.
- Bring customer feedback directly to the founding team.
This is not an internship where you watch someone else do business development. You will receive coaching, but you will own real conversations and real projects.
Who we’re looking for
We’re looking for someone with taste, curiosity, warmth, and unusual follow-through.
You might be the person who:
- Knows five interesting brands before everyone else starts talking about them.
- Can explain why one brand feels special and another feels generic.
- Makes strangers feel like people rather than “leads.”
- Writes messages that are concise, specific, and natural.
- Is comfortable hearing no without becoming discouraged or weird.
- Remembers details and follows through when they say they will.
- Can be outgoing or quietly magnetic—the important thing is that people trust you.
- Wants meaningful responsibility rather than résumé filler.
You do not need previous sales experience. You do not need a large social following. You do not need to attend a famous school.
Strong signals
Any of these will get our attention:
- You have run a Depop, Poshmark, Shopify, Etsy, styling, resale, or small retail project.
- You have worked on a fashion publication, event, club, pop-up, show, or campus organization.
- You have convinced people to attend, buy, join, collaborate, sponsor, or take a chance on something.
- You regularly research brands, designers, founders, retail trends, or customer behavior for fun.
- You have built a community or maintained relationships across different groups.
- You can tell us about a time you turned an awkward introduction into a real relationship.
This probably is not a fit if
- You are looking only for a social media content internship.
- You send the same generic message to everyone.
- You enjoy meeting people but dislike preparation, tracking, or follow-up.
- You care more about appearing connected than becoming useful.
- You disappear when someone does not respond immediately.
- You need every task broken into exact steps before starting.
Why join
- You will work directly with the founding team.
- You will learn relationship-building, customer discovery, sales, ecommerce, and startup strategy.
- You will have freedom to develop your own approach.
- Your ideas can quickly become real campaigns and partnerships.
- Strong interns can grow into larger roles.
- We care more about talent, judgment, and growth rate than pedigree.

- Who you would contact.
- The first message you would send.
- One sentence explaining why they might answer you.
