Fall Journalism Internship
The Pittsburgh Media Partnership seeks motivated student journalists for its Fall 2026 internship program.
This internship is intended to give one student with a serious interest in a journalism career — particularly those who are underrepresented in the industry — an opportunity to learn on the job, improve their portfolio and leverage the experience so that they can break into the industry more easily after graduation.
Interns selected for the program will work for local newsrooms on an as-needed basis, and will help with tasks related to the Partnership’s day-to-day activities.
Interns will be paid $15 per hour for up to 150 hours. Work must be completed by the end of the spring semester.
- Candidates should be at least 18 years of age and enrolled at one of seven Pittsburgh area college institutions: Carlow University, Chatham University, Duquesne University, La Roche University, Point Park University, Robert Morris University or the University of Pittsburgh.
