Production Assistant

Soft Serve is an independent comedy series filming in Brooklyn this summer. We’re currently seeking three (3) highly organized, proactive, and collaborative Production Assistants to support the showrunner and creative team throughout production.
This role is ideal for someone interested in television production, costume design, production design, assistant directing, or showrunning and enjoys keeping a production running smoothly.
Responsibilities
- Taking production and rehearsal notes
- Coordinating crafty/snacks and basic set logistics
- Helping maintain production organization and communication
- Supporting the directors, DP, Costume Designer, or Production Designer during rehearsals and filming
- Assisting with cast/crew check-ins and general on-set needs
- Helping troubleshoot small production issues as they arise
Qualifications
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to multitask
- Positive attitude and collaborative spirit
- Interest in TV, film, comedy, or independent production
- Prior production experience is a plus, but not required
- NYC/Brooklyn local preferred

- Some rehearsal/pre-production support may be requested

- $500 stipend
