Job Description:

Stonecom Radio is growing.  You can be a part of the Lite Rock 95.9, Rock 93-7, 106-9 Kicks Country, News Talk 94.1, 93-3 The Dawg, 101.9/AM 920 WLIV, 96-9 Hwy 111 Country, Sports Radio 104.7. We are looking for a Community Outreach Liaison! Experience working with the community, multiple projects, multitasking with multiple schedules and experience with non-profit organizations is a plus!
 

Our Content Liaison will help support community initiatives throughout the Upper Cumberland through administrative and outreach work, like scheduling guests, coordinating interviews, maintaining and tracking guest lists, aligning causes and events with our promotions department, while also working hands-on with the community doing outreach to support local causes and non-profit organizations, offering our services and facilities for their use.
 

The Content Liaison will oversee the use of the Gallaher Huffines Community Room for our community partners.
 

These focuses present an exciting, challenging, multi-faceted work week.
 

You will be the face of our stations as you connect one-on-one with our listeners and community partners to discuss the events of their churches, schools, and festivals.
 

Throughout the week in our offices, you will become an integral part of learning the voice of our stations and sharing that through your phone and email interactions to arrange events and announcements along with building relationships and connections for our news, marketing, and public relations facets.
 

The candidate we select will be organized. Buttoned-up. Love talking to people. Detail-oriented. Can be right on the edge of pushy but in a warn and caring way.
 

We are looking for a liaison to help bring community partners and leaders into our building to talk about the important issues of the day. This is NOT A SALES JOB! This is a community service job. This position gives you the amazing part in helping our community grow, bring light to amazing services being offered for people in need, and helping shine the spotlight on local people, what they bring to the Upper Cumberland and how their contributions help our communities thrive.
 

You'll work directly to book guests to come to the building for interviews for their causes as well as guests that will be interviewed by our local hosts for our locally developed shows like Local Matters, our Newsmaker feature where we talk in depth with community leaders, The Scene, and UC Outdoors among others. You are the voice and liaison to help communicate to the communities we serve by helping schedule intriguing guests for our hosts.

  • Have office hours availability (We can be flexible with this as long as you
  • have availability during the hours Monday-Friday 9a-5p)
  • Be approachable, communicative, and adaptable in changing environments
