Marketing Intern, Engineering Intern
Bedrock Attachments — Internship Openings (3 Positions)
Location: Orange County, CA (on-site) Schedule: Full-time during Summer 2026 (approx. 40 hrs/week), then minimum 20 hrs/week part-time during the school year Compensation: $20/hour Growth Path: This internship is designed as a pipeline to a full-time role — interns who perform well will have the opportunity to convert to a long-term, full-time position after graduation in 2027
About Us: Bedrock Attachments designs and supplies attachments for compact construction equipment — buckets, forks, couplers, and more — serving contractors, landscapers, and dealers across Southern California and beyond. You'll work directly with the core team, see how a real business runs end to end, and own projects that actually ship.
Note: These are long-term internships intended to lead to full-time employment. We are specifically looking for rising seniors (Class of 2027) who can work full-time this summer, continue part-time (20+ hrs/week) through their senior year, and are interested in joining us full-time after graduation. If you're only looking for a summer-only internship, this is not the right fit.
1. Marketing Intern (Video & Content)
What you'll do:
Shoot and edit product videos: attachment demos, install guides, job-site footage, short-form social content (YouTube, Instagram Reels, TikTok)
Create graphics and content for our website, product listings, and email campaigns
Help manage and grow our social media accounts; track basic performance metrics
Photograph products for the website and catalogs
What we're looking for:
Hands-on video editing skills — proficient with at least one of: Premiere Pro, Final Cut, DaVinci Resolve, or CapCut (portfolio or sample work required with application)
Comfortable filming with a phone or camera; basic understanding of lighting, framing, and audio
Photoshop / Canva or similar graphic tools a plus
Interest in construction equipment, machinery, or B2B marketing is a bonus — but curiosity and willingness to learn matter more
Currently pursuing a degree in Marketing, Communications, Film/Media, or related field (or equivalent demonstrated skills)
Apply with: Resume + link to a portfolio, reel, or 1–3 sample videos you've edited (school projects and personal content are fine)
2. Sales Assistant Intern
What you'll do:
Support the sales team: respond to inbound inquiries, prepare quotes, follow up with leads
Maintain and update our CRM; keep customer and dealer records accurate
Research prospective customers (contractors, rental yards, equipment dealers) and help build outreach lists
Sit in on sales calls and dealer visits; over time, handle your own accounts
Help with trade shows and customer events as needed
What we're looking for:
Sharp, fast learner who can pick up technical product knowledge quickly (we sell equipment attachments — you don't need to know them yet, but you need to want to)
Strong communication skills — professional on the phone, clear in writing
Organized and reliable; comfortable juggling multiple follow-ups without dropping any
Proficient with Google Sheets/Excel; CRM experience a plus but not required
Bilingual (English/Spanish or English/Chinese) a plus
Currently pursuing a degree in Business, Marketing, Economics, Communications, or related field
Apply with: Resume + a short note (3–5 sentences) on why you're interested in sales
3. Engineering Intern (Technical Documentation)
What you'll do:
Write and improve product manuals: installation guides, operator instructions, safety notices, and spec sheets
Organize and standardize technical documentation — product specs, compatibility charts (e.g., which attachments fit which machine models), parts lists
Work with the team to verify dimensions, capacities, and fitment data; help maintain our internal product database
Create simple diagrams and annotated images for manuals (CAD screenshots, exploded views, labeled photos)
Support the engineering team with documentation for new product launches
What we're looking for:
Strong technical writing skills — able to explain mechanical products clearly, accurately, and concisely
Detail-oriented; comfortable double-checking specs and catching inconsistencies
Proficient with Word/Google Docs and Excel/Sheets; experience with CAD (SolidWorks, Fusion 360, AutoCAD) or Adobe tools a plus
Mechanical aptitude — you should be comfortable reading drawings and understanding how physical products fit together
Currently pursuing a degree in Mechanical Engineering, Engineering Technology, Technical Communication, or related field
Apply with: Resume + a writing sample if available (lab report, project documentation, or any technical writing)
