Software Engineer Intern Unpaid

About the Role

Our company, boomerroomers, is an organically growing "upstart" startup that requires some TLC. "br" is an interactive online community matching boomers, students, and Gen Jonsers based on housing and lifestyle preferences.

 

We are seeking motivated Software Engineer Interns who have prior internship experiences with AI marketing and/or raising venture capital. Please have 2 excellent references. This position is for summer (ASAP), and fall semester and is unpaid, for experience or school credit.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, test, and maintain features for the boomerroomers web platform.
  • Assist with integrating AI tools and technologies to improve the product and user experience.
  • Contribute to technical projects that support product growth and venture capital fundraising efforts.

Qualifications

  • College senior or post grad
  • Authorized to work in the US
  • Previous professional or internship experience in at least one of the following:
  • AI tools, machine learning, or AI-assisted workflows
  • Marketing technology or AI-driven marketing
  • Currently enrolled in or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, UX/UI, Data Science, or a related field
  • Familiarity with modern development tools and frameworks
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Comfortable working independently in a remote startup environment
  • Reliable, proactive, and eager to learn

Internship Details

  • Hours: Flexible; minimum of 10 hours per week
  • Location: Fully Remote
  • Start: ASAP
  • Preference given to people who can work through fall semester
