About Us
Powered By Love, Inc. is an Arizona-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to restoring dignity and providing critical resources to our unhoused neighbors. We are currently mobilizing The 831 Experience, an intensive, high-dignity community service campaign taking place this October to serve 75 unhoused guests with premium resources, medical/wellness navigation, and long-term care routing.
Position Purpose
The Grant Coordinator Chair acts as the central engine for institutional funding and foundation relationship management across the campaign. Working under the direct guidance of our Director of Marketing & Strategic Partnerships and our Executive Director, you will own the grant alignment, compliance, and administrative submission of regional community health, wellness, and social equity grants. This is an elite resume-builder for students looking to master non-profit fundraising infrastructure, corporate writing, and institutional database mechanics.
Core Responsibilities
Grant Pipeline Curation: Research, identify, and qualify local, regional, and national foundation grants aligned with community health equity, homelessness relief, and mobile medical care.
Proposal Architecture & Composition: Review high-fidelity grant proposals using verified organizational metrics and data frameworks provided by leadership.
Compliance Tracking & Submission Management: Organize internal submission checklists, compile required corporate documentation (IRS status letters, board rosters), and manage deadline workflows inside the project dashboard.
Data Synthesis & Reporting: Assist the financial controller and partnership desk in organizing post-event data to deliver high-dignity foundation impact summaries.
Job Requirements & Core Competencies
Exceptional Written Communication: Strong technical writing capability, with the ability to articulate complex logistical needs into clear, compelling, grant-ready narratives.
Organizational Systems Fluency: Experience or strong comfort navigating cloud-based document vaults, tracking task dependencies, and managing rigid submission deadlines.
Academic/Professional Alignment: Ideally pursuing or recently completed a degree in Non-Profit Management, Public Administration, Public Health, Business, Communications, or English/Technical Writing.
Dignity-First Ethos: A deep structural alignment with our organization's strict ethical mandate—focusing on systemic solutions, health equity, and honoring the human dignity of our guests.
Compensation & Commitment
Total Project Commitment: Highly flexible, milestone-driven, remote workflow spanning the campaign lifecycle through late November. You will need to be available for meetings during the week.
Guaranteed Base Stipend: Paid on a predictable, 1x-monthly schedule split between flat operational draws and milestone completions.
Performance Bonus Structure: Eligible for a flat-rate fundraising milestone bonus track based on collective campaign achievements.
