Allied Behavioral Health Solutions is seeking a creative, organized, and relationship-minded intern or consultant to support social media content development and engagement across several family-serving programs, including Little Blossoms Early Learning & Development Center, Help Me Grow Tennessee, and ABHS clinical services available statewide through telehealth.
This opportunity is ideal for a college student, recent graduate, or young professional interested in marketing, communications, social media, early childhood, behavioral health, nonprofit work, or community engagement.
The Social Media & Community Engagement Intern/Consultant will help develop and share content that increases awareness, builds trust with families and community partners, and highlights the meaningful work happening across ABHS programs.
Key Responsibilities
- Support social media content planning and creation for ABHS programs, including Little Blossoms, Help Me Grow TN, and clinical services.
- Create simple, engaging graphics, captions, reels, stories, and posts that align with ABHS brand voice and program goals.
- Help identify opportunities to increase engagement with families, referral partners, community organizations, and statewide audiences.
- Gather stories, photos, program updates, and content ideas from ABHS team members.
- Support content that promotes early childhood development, family support, telehealth services, outpatient therapy, medication management, and community resources.
- Monitor social media activity, respond to or flag engagement opportunities, and help track basic performance metrics.
- Assist with special campaigns, awareness months, event promotion, and community outreach efforts.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is creative, dependable, curious, and comfortable writing for social media. They should be interested in using communications to support children, families, and behavioral health services.
Strong candidates may have experience or interest in:
- Social media content creation
- Canva or simple graphic design tools
- Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and short-form video
- Writing captions and promotional content
- Marketing, communications, public relations, or community engagement
- Early childhood, mental health, family support, or nonprofit services
- Tracking engagement and identifying what content performs well

Time Commitment
Approximately 10 hours per week. Schedule can be flexible, with some availability during regular business hours for check-ins, content planning, and collaboration.
