Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Media Sales Representative to generate advertising revenue by selling media and marketing solutions to businesses. The ideal candidate will develop strong client relationships, identify new business opportunities, and create effective advertising campaigns across digital, print, broadcast, and multimedia platforms.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prospect and acquire new advertising clients through cold calling, networking, referrals, and market research.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients to maximize revenue and client retention.
  • Identify client marketing objectives and recommend customized advertising solutions.
  • Prepare and present sales proposals, media plans, and campaign presentations.
  • Negotiate contracts, pricing, and advertising agreements.
  • Coordinate with creative, marketing, and operations teams to ensure successful campaign execution.
  • Monitor campaign performance and provide clients with detailed reports and recommendations.
  • Stay current on industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities, client communications, and forecasts in CRM systems.
  • Consistently meet or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, Business, or related field preferred.
  • 2+ years of sales experience, preferably in media, advertising, digital marketing, or related industries.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales goals and revenue growth.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software.
  • Knowledge of digital advertising platforms and media planning is a plus.
