Legal College Intern

The Ohio Housing Finance Agency (OHFA) is seeking to fill a PAID College Intern position in our Legal Office.  College Interns will provide project, research, and administrative support to assigned OHFA division. This internship will offer practical experience in a professional public-sector environment and the opportunity to contribute to meaningful work in support of affordable housing efforts statewide. Interns assist with day-to-day tasks, participate in team projects, and develop skills aligned with their academic and career interests.

Under immediate supervision, takes direction from management and works with Legal Office (Legal) staff to support legal processes of OHFA: creates and/or organizes files (e.g., litigation case files, agreements, other legal documents); assists with processing mail; drafts correspondence, memoranda, and other le-gal documents, reviews documents as part of due diligence in real estate closings; assists with other projects as requested (e.g., conducts research).
 

Area of Study:

Law or related undergraduate field with intent to pursue law degree
