Campus Ambassador - Athletics

Rostered is a platform that helps college and developmental-pro athletes earn real income from the people who believe in them. Supporters — family, hometown fans, friends, and alumni — back their favorite athletes through monthly subscriptions, and in return the athlete delivers monthly content like training breakdowns, behind-the-scenes vlogs, and group Q&A calls that give supporters real inside access to their journey. The majority of every dollar goes straight to the athlete. We operate as a fully NIL-compliant third-party platform under NCAA Bylaw 22.1.3, with NIL counsel at Buchanan Ingersoll & Rooney. We're an early-stage, founder-led startup building the connection between athletes and their supporters — and Campus Ambassadors are how we grow, one school at a time.

That's where you come in. As a Campus Ambassador, you're the face of Rostered at your school: you find student-athletes who'd be a great fit, introduce them to the platform, and guide them through getting set up. You work on your own schedule, at your own pace — this is built to run alongside a full course load and campus life. And because you're building your school's roster, the early athletes you bring on are yours to claim. It's first come, first served, so the ambassadors who get active early have the biggest advantage.

Responsibilities & Duties

• Identify student-athletes at your school who'd be a strong fit for Rostered, prioritizing those with the highest earning potential
• Claim ("draft") athletes in your ambassador dashboard before reaching out, so your prospects are locked in
• Reach out to athletes directly — in person, by text, or via DM — and introduce them to the platform
• Clearly explain how Rostered works and how athletes earn through monthly supporter subscriptions
• Guide athletes through account creation and onboarding, answering questions along the way
• Keep your dashboard current — logging outreach, conversations, and claim status as you go
• Move claimed athletes through the signup process in a timely way
• Build and maintain genuine relationships across teams, and serve as a friendly, reliable point of contact
• Represent Rostered professionally and in full alignment with NIL compliance guidelines
• Complete onboarding training and stay up to date as the platform evolves
• Work independently to hit your own recruiting goals and grow your school's roster
• Share on-the-ground feedback with the Rostered team to help improve the experience
