Position Type:  Internship Part-Time, Temporary

Location: On-site, Richmond Heights, Ohio

Duration: Fall 2026 Semester | 20-30 hours

 

Job Summary:

This internship is designed for students who want real B2B marketing experience—not busywork—including content creation, campaign execution, analytics, and exposure to a legacy industrial brand.

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Marketing Intern to join our team in the marketing department as our marketing assistant.  Merit Brass has been a part of the Pipe, Valve, and Fittings (PVF) industry for over 85 years. 

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in editing marketing materials, such as brochures, product datasheets, flyers tailored to PVF industry clients
  • Conduct research on industry trends, competitors, and target markets to support marketing strategies
  • Help curate and update website content based on SEO & Website best practices
  • Compile basic data from marketing campaigns (e.g., email open rates, website traffic) to assist in performance reporting
  • Perform marketing administrative tasks such as maintaining contact lists, scheduling posts, and organizing digital & promotional assets, catalog creation, generate our internal newsletter
  • Assist in creating and executing social media and email marketing campaigns
  • Assist with video shoots and help manage our video platforms
  • Support trade show planning, logistics, and event preparation
  • Research & procure promotional goods & office supplies
  • Attend career fairs on college campuses with the Marketing Director to speak about our internship program 

 

 

Qualifications:

  • Current college student with an interest in marketing, business, or communications
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint);
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a professional setting
  • Curiosity about B2B industries (no prior PVF experience required—willingness to learn is key)
  • Reliable, organized, and eager to take on new challenges
