Job Title: AI Video Data Collection & Preprocessing Assistant (1-Month Contract)

Location: SF Bay Area, CA (Fieldwork) Duration: 1 Month (Short-term, starting in August) Pay Rate: $20 - $25 / hour Equipment: All required data collection hardware and camera gear will be provided by the company.

About the Job: We are a tech company specializing in AI data solutions. We are seeking 2-3 highly organized and detail-oriented assistants, Data Science, or related fields—to support a 1-month commercial computer vision data collection project.

This is a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the foundational stage of the AI pipeline: raw data ingestion and data pipeline compliance. No professional filming experience required; we will train you on our data collection protocols.

Key Responsibilities:

Execute field data collection by operating company-provided camera equipment in designated locations.

Strictly adhere to structured data schemas and collection SOPs (angles, resolution, metadata framing).

Manage daily data ingestion: transfer, organize, and systematically label large video datasets based on specific naming conventions.

Requirements:

Must be highly responsible with exceptional analytical and organizational skills (logical thinking is critical for data integrity).

Must be able to communicate effectively in English (Mandarin speaker is a plus).

Must have a valid US Driver’s License and clean driving record (Personal car NOT required, but must know how to drive).

Must be legally authorized to work in the US (W-9/1099 verification required; all visa types welcome as long as authorized to work).

Must sign a standard commercial IP & Data Release agreement.
