About szn
szn is an AI personal assistant that actually does things — it makes real phone calls, emails businesses, books appointments, and fights refunds for you, all from a text thread. Built by ex-Apple and ex-Microsoft founders in SF. Real users, real completed tasks (a few hundred a month and growing fast), preparing our public launch.
What you'll do
- Design the surfaces 100,000 people will meet first: our waitlist experience, referral flows, onboarding, and web app screens
- Turn real product moments (an AI calling a French château, a refund won by email) into visuals: ad statics, carousel posts, end cards, landing sections
- Ship weekly. Your work goes live, gets A/B tested against real traffic, and you'll see the conversion numbers it produces
- Work directly with the founders — no design-team layers, no spec-writing purgatory
You might be a fit if
- You're studying design, HCI, or adjacent — but your portfolio matters more than your major
- You can show 2–3 things you've actually shipped or posted (class projects count too)
- You're fluent in Figma; bonus for motion basics
- You find consumer apps' onboarding flows interesting enough to have opinions about them
