Marketing Coordinator
The Marketing Coordinator is the creative and strategic engine behind Q Impacts' brand presence across all digital channels. This role is responsible for executing a consistent, compelling, and mission-driven marketing strategy that amplifies Tina's thought leadership, grows our community, and drives awareness and attendance for the Nonprofit Impact Summit (NPIS).
This position operates at the intersection of content strategy, community management, email marketing, and brand stewardship. The Marketing Coordinator works closely with the Marketing Playbook, manages a marketing intern, and reports directly to Tina. The ideal candidate is a self-directed creative who can execute independently while remaining deeply aligned with the brand voice and organizational goals.
Social Media Management
- Manage Q Impacts' presence on Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn with a minimum of 50 posts/month
- Create and schedule original content including graphics, short-form video (Reels), carousels, and written posts
- Engage with followers daily — respond to comments, DMs, and tags within 24 hours
- Run and monitor paid social media ad campaigns in alignment with NPIS and Heartbeat growth goals
- Monitor analytics weekly and report performance to Tina at each scheduled review
Heartbeat Community & NPIS Management
- Manage and grow the Heartbeat online community platform, driving toward $3,000+/month in recurring revenue
- Publish weekly content inside the Heartbeat community and drive engagement among members
- Build and execute marketing campaigns for NPIS ticket sales including landing pages, email sequences, and social ads
- Create and manage a LinkedIn Event for the Nonprofit Impact Summit
Email Marketing
- Manage Q Impacts' email list using Encharge with a minimum of 3 campaigns/month
- Maintain email segments by audience type (clients, NPIS prospects, Heartbeat members, general subscribers)
- Maintain a minimum 30% open rate across all campaigns through strong subject lines and audience targeting
- Build automated email sequences for NPIS ticket campaigns and Heartbeat onboarding
Content Calendar & Blog
- Own and maintain a monthly content calendar covering all platforms, email, and blog — submitted to Tina for approval by the 25th of the prior month
- Publish 1-2 blog posts per month on qimpacts.com that reflect Tina's voice and demonstrate organizational expertise
- Distribute each blog post across all channels: email newsletter, social platforms, and Heartbeat community
Website & Digital Infrastructure
- Maintain and update Q Impacts' Google website including service pages, bios, event pages, and landing pages
- Ensure all web pages are current, conversion-optimized, and consistent with brand standards
- Build NPIS event landing pages and coordinate with Tina on copy and visual direction
Intern Management
- Assign weekly task lists to the marketing intern and review deliverables for quality and brand alignment
- Hold interns accountable to deadlines and communicate performance feedback to the Operations Coordinator
- Develop interns' skills in content creation, community management, and digital marketing execution
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- 2+ years of experience in social media management, digital marketing, or content strategy
- Strong written communication skills with the ability to adapt to a distinctive brand voice
- Demonstrated ability to create professional-quality graphic and video content (Canva, CapCut, or similar tools)
- Experience with email marketing platforms (Mailchimp, Constant Contact, Encharge, or similar)
- Proficiency in social media scheduling tools (Buffer, Later, Hootsuite, or similar)
- Experience managing or contributing to a community or membership platform
- Proven track record of consistent content output — 40+ posts/month across platforms
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience marketing for a nonprofit, fundraising event, or mission-driven organization
- Familiarity with Encharge email marketing platform
- Experience running paid social media ad campaigns (Meta Ads Manager)
- Background in copywriting, blogging, or thought leadership content development
- Familiarity with Google Sites, HubSpot, or equivalent website/CMS tools
- Experience managing a marketing intern, VA, or junior team member
