Australia Working Holiday

Ready to swap your everyday routine for beaches, city life, road trips and paid work in Australia?

JENZA’s Work Australia programme gives students and young people the chance to live, work and travel in one of the world’s most popular working holiday destinations. Whether you’re planning a gap year, a break after university or a once-in-a-lifetime overseas experience, this programme helps you arrive with the key essentials already organised.

Participants can choose between a 5-day or 8-day arrival package in Sydney or Melbourne, with support to help them settle in, meet other travellers and get ready for work. This may include accommodation, airport transfer, orientation, social activities, and practical guidance when you arrive.

You’ll also receive support with key work essentials such as your Australian bank account, Tax File Number guidance, job preparation resources and access to a backpacker job board.

Typical roles may include hospitality, cafés, bars, hotels, hostels, events, tourism, front-of-house work, amusement parks, farm work, fruit picking, general labour and other seasonal jobs.

The programme includes 12 months of job support, including 1-to-1 job advice, recruitment support and guidance from JENZA’s in-country partner.

This is a great opportunity to earn money while travelling, build your CV, meet people from around the world, and experience Australia beyond a normal holiday, from beaches and national parks to city life, surf lessons, wildlife, and weekend adventures.

Applicants must be eligible for an Australian Working Holiday Visa. Age limits and visa rules depend on nationality.

Note: Eligibility depends on your nationality, including age limits and visa conditions. Please check the criteria on the JENZA website before applying.
