Work in Japan: Paid Ski Season & Hospitality Roles
Ready to swap the UK for Japan?
JENZA’s Work Japan programme gives students and young people the chance to live, work and travel in one of the most exciting countries in the world. Whether you want to spend a season working in a Japanese ski resort or take on a hospitality role in Japan, this is a unique opportunity to earn money while gaining international work experience.
Typical roles may include resort work, hotels, restaurants, cafés, bars, guesthouses, front desk, housekeeping, chalet hosting, concierge, childcare or other English-speaking hospitality roles.
Many roles are paid, giving you the chance to support your travels, build confidence, improve your CV and experience Japan beyond the usual tourist route. Some ski season roles may also include perks such as subsidised accommodation and free or discounted lift passes.
You do not need to speak Japanese, and support is provided before departure and throughout the programme. This opportunity is ideal for students or recent graduates who are adventurous, independent, open-minded and ready to experience something different.
Note: Eligibility depends on your nationality, including age limits and visa conditions. Please check the criteria on the JENZA website before applying.
