Social Media & Content Intern — Prime Yacht Experiences & Events
Social Media & Content Intern — Prime Yacht Experiences & Events
Location: Miami, FL (on-vessel and dockside) Type: Internship — unpaid, college credit available where school approves Schedule: Summer 2026, with the option to extend into the fall for the right fit. Flexible across weekends and weekdays.
About Prime Experiences Prime is Miami's luxury yacht experience company, founded in 2011 and recognized on the Inc. 5000 list. We host bespoke private celebrations and corporate activations on the water — from intimate yachts to large event vessels that hold up to 600 guests. Clients include Spotify, Disney, Cisco, and Ripple, and our calendar is anchored by Miami's biggest cultural moments: Formula 1 Miami Grand Prix, Art Basel, Miami Music Week, and the FIFA World Cup. In 2026 we launched a first-of-its-kind land-to-sea partnership with MICHELIN-starred Elcielo Miami, and Champagne Telmont serves as our official champagne partner.
We don't sell boat rentals — we sell unforgettable moments on the water.
About the Role We're looking for an outgoing, camera-ready college student to join our team as a Social Media & Content Intern. You'll be on board our vessels capturing content during private events and corporate experiences for both retail (B2C) and corporate (B2B) clients. If you live on social media, feel at home in front of a camera, and have an eye for great photo and video, this is for you.
What You'll Do
- Capture photo and video content on board during events and experiences
- Edit content for Instagram, TikTok, Reels, and YouTube Shorts
- Appear on camera as a friendly face representing Prime Experiences
- Help shape posts, captions, and content ideas
- Represent the brand professionally with both private guests and corporate clients
What We're Looking For
- Currently enrolled in college (internship must qualify for school credit, where applicable)
- Available weekends and weekdays through summer 2026
- Fluent in English
- Outgoing, confident, and comfortable on camera
- Genuine love for social media and current content trends
- Polished, professional appearance and consistently well-dressed
- Proficient with photo and video editing (CapCut, Adobe Premiere, Lightroom, Photoshop, or similar)
- Comfortable working on boats and around water
- Reliable, punctual, and great with people
Nice to Have
- Existing personal social media presence
- Prior content creation, modeling, or hospitality experience
- Bilingual (English/Spanish)
This Might Not Be the Right Fit If
- A consistent weekend schedule is tough for you right now
- You're more excited about being on the yacht than the work that happens on it
- You make content but don't really look at how it performs after you post
- Editing tends to sit on your phone for a few days before it goes out
- Being on camera as the face of a brand feels like a stretch
Compensation & Perks This is an unpaid summer internship that earns college credit where your school approves, with the option to extend into the fall for standout performers. The real value is the access: time on Miami's biggest waterfront stages — F1 weekend, Art Basel, Miami Music Week — alongside brands like Spotify, Disney, and Cisco. You'll leave with a portfolio of premium content shot in environments most interns never see, direct mentorship from our marketing team, meals on board during events, and a strong network across Miami's hospitality and luxury world.
To Apply Send the following to david@primeluxuryrentals.com:
- A short intro and your social handles
- A headshot
- 2–3 samples of photo or video content you've created
- Analytics from past content you've worked on — screenshots of views, reach, saves, or engagement on at least one piece you're proud of. We want to see that you understand what makes content perform, not just how to make it look good.
