Our programs include STEM, mathematics, artificial intelligence, coding, physics, chess, academic enrichment, competition preparation, and admissions-related courses for K–12 students.
Position Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated Marketing Lead to help drive the academy’s growth through strategic marketing, compelling storytelling, community engagement, and effective enrollment campaigns. This role is ideal for someone who combines strong marketing instincts with excellent communication skills and a genuine interest in education.
The Marketing Lead will work closely with academy leadership, instructors, operations staff, and creative team members to strengthen brand visibility, increase parent engagement, and support student enrollment growth.
Key Responsibilities
Marketing Strategy & Growth
- Develop and execute marketing strategies that support enrollment, retention, and brand awareness goals.
- Plan and manage seasonal marketing campaigns for summer programs, after-school classes, weekend enrichment programs, admissions preparation, competitions, and special events.
- Identify and engage key audiences, including parents, students, local families, schools, and education-focused communities.
- Analyze campaign performance and recommend data-driven improvements to increase inquiries, registrations, and enrollment conversions.
- Research market trends, competitor offerings, and parent interests to inform marketing initiatives.
Content Creation & Brand Communication
- Create and edit high-quality marketing content for social media, websites, newsletters, email campaigns, brochures, flyers, program descriptions, and parent communications.
- Translate complex academic and program information into clear, engaging, and parent-friendly messaging.
- Develop compelling narratives that communicate student outcomes, program benefits, instructor expertise, and academy strengths.
- Maintain a consistent and professional brand voice across all marketing channels.
- Review and refine content for clarity, accuracy, grammar, formatting, and brand consistency.
Social Media & Digital Marketing
- Lead content planning and execution across platforms including Facebook, Instagram, RedNote (Xiaohongshu), WeChat, LinkedIn, and other relevant channels.
- Develop content calendars aligned with enrollment cycles, events, student achievements, educational insights, and academy updates.
- Coordinate short-form videos, graphics, promotional campaigns, and social media storytelling initiatives.
- Monitor engagement metrics and identify opportunities to improve audience reach and content performance.
- Support paid advertising initiatives through audience targeting, campaign planning, ad copy development, and performance analysis.
Community Outreach & Parent Engagement
- Support outreach efforts with local schools, community organizations, parent groups, and educational networks.
- Develop marketing initiatives that strengthen relationships with current families while attracting new students.
- Assist with promotional events, open houses, information sessions, competitions, and academy showcases.
- Help ensure that parent communications remain timely, informative, and aligned with academy values.
Qualifications
Requirements:
- Background in Marketing, Communications, Business, Digital Media, Public Relations, Education, or a related field.
- Experience in marketing, content creation, social media management, communications, or campaign planning.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong ability to create polished, persuasive, and parent-friendly content.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Ability to work approximately 20–30 hours per week.
- Ability to work in person at the Tenafly, NJ location as needed.
Preferred Experience:
- Experience marketing educational programs, tutoring services, enrichment programs, camps, or family-focused services.
- Understanding of K–12 education, gifted education, STEM enrichment, academic competitions, or admissions preparation.
- Familiarity with social media analytics, email marketing platforms, and digital advertising.
- Graphic design, video editing, photography, or content production experience.
- Mandarin Chinese proficiency, particularly for parent communication and Chinese-language marketing channels.
