Events & Programs Intern

Events & Programs Intern | Programs & Events (Paid Internship)

About eMYRge

eMYRge is a nonprofit entrepreneur support organization in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. We support startups and founders through three things: a collaborative coworking space, mentorship from experienced entrepreneurs, and hands-on education. Interns are part of the team that makes this happen, interacting with founders and members in the space while supporting the programs and services they rely on.

Why this internship matters

This internship directly supports the growth of the Myrtle Beach area’s startup and innovation ecosystem. The Events and Programs Intern helps deliver education-driven programming, accelerators, and community events that equip founders with skills, connections, and resources to start and grow companies locally. Through hands-on involvement in startup accelerators, pitch events, and community programming, this role contributes to workforce development, entrepreneurial education, and long-term economic growth in the Myrtle Beach area.

Interns gain exposure to how nonprofit innovation organizations operate while helping build pathways for technology, talent, and new businesses in the region. This role provides applied, experiential learning through direct involvement in program delivery and community-based entrepreneurship initiatives.
