Position Title: Program Development Specialist AmeriCorps Member
Slot Type:
Half Time AmeriCorps Slot Type - 900 total hours
20 hours per week for 46 total weeks
Reports To: Veronica Saiz
Location: 2552 N Alvernon Way Ste 110 Tucson, AZ 85712
Major Responsibilities and Duties:
- Develop programs and activities for our volunteers, youth, and families at our Mentoring Activity Center, to include hands-on experiences in STEM, cooking classes, arts and crafts, and other activities identified by our clients.
- Additionally, the Program Development Specialists will create a community asset map to determine potential partners and provide our clients with access to resources in our community.
- Focus Areas: Project planning and development, Project Evaluation, Project Outreach

Qualifications:
- Proficient in Microsoft office
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and in a team setting
- Friendly and effective interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Weekly schedule - Thursday and Friday 1:00 to 6:00 Saturday 9:00 to 6:00
