Dance Instructor - Fred Astaire Dance Studios - Northbrook

Fred Astaire Dance Studios - Northbrook is seeking energetic, outgoing and motivated individuals to join out team as Professional Dance Instructors. Whether you have extensive dance experience or a strong background in performance, athletics, teaching or customer service, we provide professional training and career development in a supportive environment.

As a Dance Instructor , you will work ono-on -one and in group settings with adult students of all levels, helping them achieve their personal dance goals while building confidence and having fun.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Teach private and group dance lessons
  • Build strong relationships with students and provide an exceptional customer experience
  • Participate in studio events, showcases and competitions
  • Help students achieve their dance goals 
  • Maintain a positive, professional and enthusiastic attitude
  • Continue professional development through our training program

 

Qualifications:

  • Passion for dance, teaching or working with people
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn
  • Reliable, professional and team-oriented
  • Previous dance experience is preferred
  • Sales, customer service, coaching, or teaching experience
