We are currently in private beta and working with athletes, coaches, schools, and sports organizations to build the future infrastructure of the athlete economy.

What You’ll Do

As a UX/Product Design Intern, you will help shape the user experience of the Virtus platform across mobile and web experiences.

You will work directly with the founders to design intuitive experiences for athletes, coaches, and sports organizations.

Responsibilities include:

  • Design mobile-first product experiences in Figma
  • Create wireframes, mockups, and interactive prototypes
  • Improve onboarding and profile creation flows
  • Design athlete profile pages and recruiting experiences
  • Build reusable design system components
  • Conduct user research and usability testing
  • Translate product requirements into intuitive user experiences
  • Collaborate with engineering and product teams
  • Present concepts and design recommendations

Qualifications

Preferred:

  • Current student pursuing a degree in UX Design, Product Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Digital Design, Interactive Media, or related field
  • Experience with Figma
  • Understanding of user-centered design principles
  • Portfolio demonstrating design thinking and visual design skills
  • Strong communication and presentation skills

Nice to Have:

  • Interest in sports, athletes, recruiting, or sports technology
  • Experience with design systems
  • Understanding of mobile-first design
  • Familiarity with usability testing
