Production Director – Moss Park Campus
Reports To: Digital Evangelism & Creative Ministry Director
Works Closely With: Campus Leads; Creative Ministry (Worship, Production, Media); Worship Director
Collaborates With: Production Directors of other campuses
Scope: The Production Director provides strategic leadership and oversight for all production environments at the Moss Park campus, including audio, video, lighting, visual presentation, and broadcast. This role ensures that every service and event reflects technical excellence, creative innovation, and a distraction-free experience that helps people connect with Jesus.
Under the direction of the Digital Evangelism & Creative Ministry Director, the Production Director leads production staff, contractors, and volunteers to deliver excellent worship services, events, and conferences.
Purpose of Position: This position exists to serve NONACHURCH by creating opportunities for people to take their next best step in following Jesus through our largest “front porch” environment—our weekly worship services—by crafting engaging environments via video, lighting, audio, and visual experiences.
Areas of Responsibility
Audio (Weekend & Services Focus)
- Serve as the primary audio engineer for weekend services.
- Provide sound support for all weekend services and required special events.
- Lead and oversee audio volunteers and team members to ensure consistent, high-quality execution.
- Prepare, run, and troubleshoot FOH and stage audio during services.
- Ensure stage cleanliness, safety, and proper cable management at all times.
- Monitor, develop, and maintain broadcast audio.
- Mix or direct audio for recording opportunities as they arise.
- Manage and maintain all AVL equipment, including repairs, maintenance, and installations as needed.
Lighting & Visual Presentation
- Develop and implement lighting and stage strategies to enhance creativity and visual impact during services.
- Design, program, repair, and operate lighting and special effects for all services and events.
- Recruit and train a dedicated team to support live event lighting production.
- Mentor and support lighting leaders within the team.
- Build and manage ProPresenter files, including lyrics, backgrounds, and slides.
- Assist in creating sermon slides.
- Maintain and expand the use of LED walls, projection systems, and related technologies.
- Develop and implement best practices for staging.
- Proactively maintain and service all equipment.
Live Video & Broadcast
- Develop and execute a broadcast strategy delivering high-quality, multi-camera video for in-room and online experiences.
- Oversee and maintain broadcast audio quality.
- Maximize the use of Resi for weekend streaming, including scheduling and cue creation.
- Recruit, train, and schedule a dedicated broadcast/video team.
Technical (Systems & Infrastructure)
- Oversee the maintenance, repair, and installation of all AVL systems.
- Ensure all production equipment is functioning, updated, and service-ready.
- Manage campus production networking, including Dante audio networks and basic IT coordination.
- Troubleshoot technical systems across audio, video, lighting, and presentation environments.
- Partner with central teams to implement upgrades, system improvements, and new technologies.
- Maintain documentation, signal flow diagrams, and system organization.
Additional Areas of Leadership & Participation
- Actively engage in weekly staff meetings, one-on-one meetings with leadership, and bi-monthly all-staff meetings.
- Collaborate with Creative Ministry, worship, and production teams across campuses to achieve shared goals.
- Create onboarding processes and skill development pathways.
- Maintain working knowledge of Planning Center Online for service planning, team scheduling, and volunteer coordination.
- Utilize Planning Center Online to support service flow, production notes, and communication with ministry teams.
- Perform additional duties as needed.
The Ideal Candidate Is/Has
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a professional production role, formal education, and/or related experience.
- Experience with DAWs such as Ableton, Logic Pro, and Pro Tools.
- Strong understanding of Dante audio networking.
- Experience with Allen & Heath and DiGiCo audio consoles.
- Experience implementing Waves in a live setting.
- Deep knowledge of ProPresenter.
- Ability to make sound, critical decisions under pressure.
- Ability to self-evaluate and respond positively to feedback.
- Ability to plan ahead and adapt quickly to changes.
- Highly organized and able to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Detail-oriented and self-motivated, willing to engage in both simple and complex tasks.

This is a full-time, salaried, exempt ministerial position.
