Assistant Intern (Music Industry)

Jades Goudreault is looking for an Assistant Intern. Ideally a Music Industry student who already has understanding of the music industry + publishing. Someone who is enthusiastic, organized, detail oriented, solution oriented and a quick learner! 

Part-Time (on-going), with potential for long term position, growth and higher pay. (around 3-5 hours per week)

Montreal-born, LA-based artist + Songwriter Jades Goudreault has recieved support from radio, including iHeartRadio, SiriusXM, has amassed 45M streams on Spotify alone, was featured on their New Music Friday Canada BILLBOARD in Toronto + has been featured on 50 Spotify-curated playlists including: New Music Friday (US [4 times], Fresh Finds, Pop Sauce, SALT, Young & Free + RADAR. When she's not working on her own artist project, you'll catch her writing for artists such as Grant Knoche, Shuba, Brooke Alex + many more. She's had 30 sync placements in the past 8 months (including a national Walmart commercial and CBS image branding campaign) + has received praise from the likes of: Dove Cameron, Perez Hilton, Chloe Bennet, Marshmallow etc.. Her recent release "JUICE BOX" has fans craving for more. She's currently working on her 2026 album. 


Main tasks include: 

Sync + Publishing:  
- Registering songs on ASCAP, MLC, SoundExchange etc…  
- Metadata 
- Organizing + uploading music to Disco 
- Making spread sheets 

Socials + Marketing: 
- Planning/Scheduling content, simple video editing + drafting content 
- Researching trends, crafting great captions 
- Run several tiktok accounts 
- Creative ways to get more fan emails, build email list, fan engament. 
start street team. 

Communication + Organization: 
- Managing emails 
- Scheduling (writing sessions, meetings…)  
- Task Management 


Other possible tasks include: 

Sync: 
- Research TV shows/Film, + Music supervisors 
- Pitching songs 

Industry + Collaborations: 
- Researching tours + reaching out for opening slots. 
- Finding brand collaborations 
- A&R (finding + reaching out to producers, artists…) 

Creative direction (Bonus): 
- Helping with visual branding 
- Brainstorming and developing aesthetic concepts 
- Coordinating photoshoots/video shoots 
- Filming content/music videos 
- Photography (for artwork, press, socials etc) 
- Help to ensure artistic vision is cohesive across all platforms  
 
Graphic Design (Bonus): 
- Merch Designs 
- EPK 
- Tour posters etc… 
- Album/single artwork 

*Potential commission if you get music placed in TV/Film (sync), Secure funding for album/tour etc...
