Position Overview

  • Role: Junior Events Coordinator / Intern
  • Type: Hourly Internship / Part-time Contract
  • Duration: Approx. 3–4 months (Spanning our peak busy season, starting in late November 2026)
  • Compensation: $15.00 / hour
  • Location: Miami, FL (Office prep and varying on-site event venues)
  • Target Audience: Passionate undergraduate students currently enrolled in a School of Hospitality & Tourism Management (or related program) seeking real-world luxury experience.

Job Summary

As a Junior Events Coordinator / Intern, you will work directly alongside our experienced Event Coordinators and Senior Event Coordinators during our most exciting and busiest time of the year. This role bridges the gap between the classroom and the elite event industry, offering a 360-degree view of what it takes to execute flawless luxury productions. You will assist with meticulous pre-event planning in the office and provide vital operational support on-site during live events.

Core Responsibilities

Pre-Event Preparation & Office Support:

  • Assist senior coordinators with event logistics, vendor sourcing, and organizing production timelines.
  • Help maintain and organize event inventory, design elements, and styling materials.
  • Review event orders, floor plans, and production notes to ensure total accuracy ahead of load-in.
  • Provide general administrative support to ensure the coordination team is fully equipped for upcoming events.

On-Site Event Execution:

  • Assist with on-site setup, including managing timelines, spatial layout oversight, and meticulous aesthetic detailing.
  • Act as a reliable point of contact for coordinators, vendors, and service staff during live execution.
  • Help manage guest flow, registration, or specific activation zones depending on the scale of the event.
  • Assist with post-event breakdown, ensuring all company assets are safely accounted for.

Qualifications & Requirements

We are looking for passionate, high-energy individuals who are eager to learn the art of old-school luxury hospitality.

  • Education: Currently pursuing an undergraduate degree in Hospitality Management, Event Management, or a related field.
  • The Luxury Mindset: An innate eye for detail, a polished professional presentation, and a deep appreciation for high-end aesthetics and formal service standards.
  • Adaptability & Stamina: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. Events require long hours on your feet, moving quickly, and adapting to real-time changes.
  • Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills; ability to interact professionally with high-net-worth clients, vendors, and internal teams.
  • Schedule Flexibility: Must be available to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays, aligned with our peak winter event calendar.
  • Transportation: Reliable transportation to get to our main office and various event venues across the greater Miami area.
