Sales and Marketing Associate

Full-Time | Remote-Based | Frequent White Mountains Travel Required

$20/hour + Commissions + Performance Bonuses

TakeMeToTheMountains.com is a growing vacation rental and travel platform focused on unique mountain homes and year-round travel experiences throughout the White Mountains and beyond. We are looking for an energetic, highly organized, creative, and outgoing Sales & Marketing Associate to help grow both our homeowner network and our brand presence.

This is a hands-on growth role for someone who wants to be deeply involved in sales, marketing, social media, branding, and business development while helping build a company from the ground up.

This position is ideal for:

  • Recent college graduates with degrees in Marketing, Business, Hospitality, Tourism, Communications, or related fields
  • Candidates with real estate, hospitality, tourism, sales, or business development experience
  • Entrepreneurial personalities who enjoy networking, travel, and creative marketing

What You’ll Do

Sales & Business Development

  • Research and identify vacation rental homeowners, realtors, and local business partners
  • Conduct outreach via phone, email, social media, and in-person networking
  • Cold call homeowners, realtors, and businesses to introduce our platform and build relationships
  • Assist with onboarding new property listings and business partnerships
  • Attend Chamber of Commerce events, networking socials, tourism events, trade shows, and local business functions throughout the White Mountains region

Social Media & Marketing Leadership

  • Take an active leadership role in helping manage and grow the company’s Instagram and Facebook presence
  • Proactively brainstorm and help develop creative marketing ideas and campaigns
  • Create and schedule engaging social media posts, reels, stories, and promotional content
  • Help identify viral marketing opportunities, seasonal campaigns, partnerships, and brand collaborations
  • Assist with content creation, property spotlights, homeowner features, and local travel content
  • Help maintain a consistent brand voice and aesthetic across marketing channels

Website & Organizational Support

  • Assist with website updates and content management (WordPress experience preferred)
  • Maintain organized tracking systems for leads, outreach, social media performance, and follow-up
  • Coordinate marketing materials, promotions, and branded campaigns

Property Visits & Content Opportunities

  • Occasionally visit and stay at listed properties to review homes, create marketing content, and support promotional initiatives
  • Approved property stays may allow friends/family to accompany for content creation and experience-based marketing purposes

What We’re Looking For

The ideal candidate is:

  • Extremely organized and detail-oriented
  • Outgoing, personable, and confident speaking with new people
  • Comfortable making cold calls and developing relationships
  • Creative and proactive with marketing ideas
  • Passionate about social media and digital marketing
  • Self-motivated and comfortable working independently in a remote environment
  • Interested in travel, hospitality, tourism, real estate, or branding
  • Familiar with Instagram, Facebook, Canva, and social media posting tools
  • Familiar with WordPress or basic website design/content management (preferred)
  • Willing to travel frequently throughout the White Mountains region

Bonus Skills (Not Required)

  • Photography or videography experience
  • Canva, graphic design, or content editing skills
  • Hospitality, tourism, real estate, or sales experience
  • Networking or event coordination experience

Compensation & Benefits

  • $20/hour base pay
