Storytelling & Digital Content Coordinator Position Overview 

Select Soccer Club is seeking a talented, creative, and highly motivated Storytelling & Digital Content Coordinator to help bring the Select experience to life. This is not a traditional social media management role. We are not looking for someone whose primary focus is analytics, scheduling software, reporting dashboards, or managing digital platforms.

We are looking for a storyteller. Someone who can see the moments others miss. Someone who understands how to capture emotion, energy, achievement, and community. Someone who can transform a training session into a story, a tournament weekend into a memory, and a player's journey into content that inspires others.

The ideal candidate is a creative professional with a passion for visual storytelling, content creation, and authentic brand building. They will work throughout the club to capture and share the stories of our players, coaches, teams, families, and community while helping showcase what makes Select one of the premier youth soccer organizations in the country.

This individual should be equally comfortable behind a camera, conducting an interview, writing a feature story, producing a short-form video, or developing compelling content that connects with audiences across multiple platforms.

What Success Looks Like

Success in this role is not measured by spreadsheets or reports. Success is measured by the ability to create content that makes a parent proud, inspires a player, highlights a coach's impact, strengthens our culture, and helps people understand what it means to be part of Select.

We are looking for someone who can consistently create professional-quality content that is engaging, entertaining, informative, and authentic. Someone who can tell our story in a way that people want to watch, read, share, and remember.

Key Responsibilities

• Capture photo and video content at trainings, matches, tournaments, events, camps, clinics, and club activities.
• Develop player, coach, team, and community spotlight stories.
• Conduct interviews and gather content that highlights the people behind the program.
• Create short-form and long-form video content for digital platforms.
• Write articles, features, social content, website stories, newsletters, and other club communications.
• Work closely with coaches, directors, and staff to identify meaningful stories throughout the organization.
• Maintain and organize content libraries including photography, video, testimonials, and creative assets.
• Support the creation of marketing and promotional content while maintaining the club's brand standards.
• Help document and preserve the culture, history, and growth of the organization.

Ideal Candidate

• Exceptional storytelling and communication skills.
• Strong photography and videography abilities.
• Experience creating compelling content for digital audiences.
• Ability to identify meaningful stories and bring them to life through written, visual, and video content.
• Proficiency with content creation and editing tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, CapCut, Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar platforms.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Comfortable working evenings and weekends around club programming and events.
• Passion for sports, youth development, and community impact.
