COLORS WINE FEST AMBASSADOR PROGRAM
Position Type: Summer Internship / Fellowship
Duration: July 1, 2026 – August 29, 2026
Commitment: 5–8 hours per week
Location: Hybrid (Remote with occasional in-person meetings and event participation in Detroit)
Stipend: Eligible for academic credit
ABOUT COLORS WINE FEST
Colors Wine Fest is a celebration of wine, culture, and community that highlights minority-owned wineries, beverage brands, and entrepreneurs. The festival brings together wine lovers, industry professionals, and cultural tastemakers for a unique experience centered around education, entertainment, and connection.
We are seeking motivated students and emerging professionals who want hands-on experience in event marketing, community engagement, partnership development, and influencer relations.
AVAILABLE TRACKS
Vendor Relations Ambassador
Support the recruitment and management of wineries, beverage brands, food vendors, and exhibitors participating in the festival.
Responsibilities:
• Research and identify prospective vendors
• Conduct outreach via email, phone, and social media
• Track vendor applications and communications
• Assist with vendor onboarding and logistics
• Support vendor communications leading up to the event
Volunteer Coordinator Ambassador
Support the recruitment, organization, and management of festival volunteers.
Responsibilities:
• Recruit volunteers through community organizations and universities
• Maintain volunteer database and communications
• Assist with volunteer scheduling and assignments
• Coordinate volunteer onboarding and training
• Support volunteer check-in on event day
Influencer Relations Ambassador
Support the festival's influencer marketing and community engagement efforts.
Responsibilities:
• Research local influencers, content creators, and community leaders
• Build and maintain an influencer outreach database
• Conduct outreach and follow-up communications
• Coordinate influencer attendance and partnerships
• Track influencer deliverables and content creation
QUALIFICATIONS
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Interest in marketing, events, public relations, hospitality, or community engagement
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
• Familiarity with social media platforms
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn
• Must be available to attend Colors Wine Fest on August 29, 2026
