Social Media Manager
Farmhaus is seeking a social media manager to represent our brand. This part-time job is responsible for managing our various social media channels (FB, Instagram and TikTok), creating content, and ensuring consistent posting and engagement. Promoting Farmhaus as a representative for our farm and various products (cider, bakery, farm market) and forging relationships on our behalf are all crucial responsibilities.
The appropriate candidate will be able to work in a fast-paced environment, work quickly and efficiently with great attention to detail. We are looking for someone with a creative viewpoint with excellent project management skills who has a high appreciation for the products Farmhaus brings to market.
Duties could include but are not limited to:
- Creation and scheduling of social media content
- Capture photos and videos of bakery items, farm activities, events, U-pick and cider releases.
- Edit short-form videos (reels and TT)
- Write engaging captions and respond timely to comments and messages
- Maintain a content calendar and coordinate promotions, events and seasonal releases
- Monitor social media performance and provide recommendations
- Draft email newsletter content and assist with basic marketing projects as needed
Requirements:
- Understanding of social media trends and positioning
- Experience creating content for IG, FB and TT
- Strong photography, videography, and video editing skills
- Excellent writing and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- Familiarity with agriculture, food, hospitality or small business marketing preferred
- Passion for storytelling and creating authentic, engaging content
Knowledge of Farmhaus products and cider category position (we can teach you!)
Weekend/evening availability (to capture content)
Must be comfortable spending time outdoors, walking the farm, interacting with guests and capturing content in a fast-paced environment
21+ years of age
