Retail and Pop-Up Event Helper

As our Wyld Market Experience Specialist, you’ll be the face of Wyld Market - helping customers shop for unique, locally crafted goods and creating a welcoming, warm atmosphere at both our pop-up shop and market booth. 

At the Wyld Market Collective Shop:

• Greet and engage customers with warmth and enthusiasm
• Share the stories behind our locally crafted goods and help customers find the perfect items
• Operate the cash register and handle transactions with ease
• Restock and organize products to maintain a visually appealing space
• Assist with set-up and break-down of displays within the shop as needed

At the Riverside Farmers Market Booth + Other Pop Up Events:

• Load up the full market display and inventory bins
• Set up and break down our booth at the market
• Engage with market-goers and showcase our curated collection of locally made goods
• Help customers shop our pop-up selection and provide recommendations
• Assist with managing stock and keeping our booth looking its best

Who You Are:

• Passionate about supporting local artists, makers, and small businesses
• Friendly and approachable with excellent customer service skills
• Organized, detail-oriented, and reliable
• A team player who can wear multiple hats and adapt to different environments
• Enthusiastic about creating a memorable and engaging shopping experience

Requirements:

• Must be available to work weekends (Saturdays + Sundays) without exception
• Must have reliable transportation and a vehicle that will fit full pop-up set-up
• Comfortable working on your feet for extended periods
• Ability to lift and move 50+ lbs of gear and products as needed for set-up and stocking
• Prior retail, sales, or customer service experience is a plus, but not required - enthusiasm and a love for local is what we’re after!
