Position Overview
We are seeking a Biomedical Engineer to join our team at our Southborough, MA facility. This is a hands-on, on-site role: from day one, you will troubleshoot, calibrate, and repair medical equipment alongside experienced team members. The position also includes travel to clinical sites across the US for field service and repair calls.
Key Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair advanced medical equipment, including heart-lung machines, heater-cooler units, and ESUs
- Perform calibration, preventive maintenance, and quality testing on refurbished devices
- Provide on-site field service and repair support at clinical facilities across the US
- Document service activities, test results, and repairs in accordance with company and regulatory standards
- Collaborate with the engineering and operations team to improve service and refurbishment processes
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Biomedical Engineering or a related field
- Strong hands-on technical aptitude and problem-solving skills
- Willingness to travel for field service assignments
- Authorization to work in the United States; candidates on F-1 OPT are welcome to apply
