Content Creator Intern
Every company posting one of these wants a “social media guru” or a “content ninja.” We don't. We want someone who shows up, films, and ships.
So we're going to be straight about what this is and what it isn't.
LNG Landscapes is one of the fastest-growing landscape design and build companies in the Twin Cities. We turn dirt patches into backyards families use for the next 20 years. The work is genuinely good — your job is to make sure the internet sees it.
WHAT WE'RE OFFERING:
→ Real creative ownership. You pitch the idea, you shoot it, you cut it, it goes live. You're not filling in someone else's template — if your content is good, the whole metro sees it.
→ Content people actually stop for. You're not posting stock photos of grass. You're on real job sites capturing real transformations. The footage is good because the work is good — you just have to capture it.
→ The best tools, including AI. A modern editing stack and AI tools we'll train you on so you punch way above your experience level. We don't ask anyone here to work with second-rate gear.
→ Direct mentorship from the founder. You'll see how content, paid ads, email, SMS, and Google Business all fit together at a company that's actually scaling — not from a textbook, from the inside.
→ A real portfolio. Published, professional work you can point to in any future interview. Not class projects.
→ $18/hr, 10–12 hours/week, flexible around your class schedule — one set in-person field day, the rest on your own time.
WHAT WE'RE NOT OFFERING:
→ A remote gig you phone in from your laptop. This is in-person and in the field — the whole point is that you film the ideas you come up with. That doesn't happen from a couch.
→ A passive seat. If you want a checklist handed to you and to be left alone, that's fine, just not here. We move fast and want someone who keeps up.
WHAT YOU'LL ACTUALLY DO:
Film and photograph projects, crews, and before/afters. Edit short-form video and photo for Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and the website. Run our social accounts and Google Business Profile. Help build creative for paid ads, email, and SMS campaigns. Pitch your own ideas, then go shoot them.
WHO THIS IS FOR:
A student or early-career creative with a real eye — someone already making content they're proud of, even if it's just their own page. Comfortable on a camera and in editing tools (CapCut, Premiere, Canva, whatever you use). Local to the east Twin Cities metro with reliable transportation to job sites. Curious about marketing, brand, and AI. Interest in landscaping or the trades is a plus, not a requirement.
TO APPLY:
Apply with your best work — a reel, a TikTok, an edit, a portfolio link, anything. We care far more about what you can make than your résumé. If a class project is the best thing you've got, send it; if it's a video you made for fun, even better.
