POS Documentation & QA Testing Specialist

About Us
We are developing a next-generation Point of Sale (POS) platform designed for retail, restaurant, and hospitality businesses. We are looking for a detail-oriented professional to help create comprehensive documentation and perform thorough testing of our POS system before deployment.
Responsibilities
Documentation
- Create user manuals, setup guides, and training materials.
- Document POS features, workflows, and configurations.
- Develop installation and troubleshooting guides.
- Maintain and update product documentation as new features are released.
- Create screenshots, diagrams, and step-by-step instructions.
Quality Assurance & Testing
- Execute functional testing of POS software and hardware integrations.
- Test sales transactions, refunds, discounts, loyalty programs, and reporting.
- Verify compatibility with printers, barcode scanners, cash drawers, payment terminals, and scales.
- Identify, document, and track software defects.
- Perform regression testing after bug fixes and updates.
- Validate user experience and workflow efficiency.
Reporting
- Create detailed bug reports and testing documentation.
- Work closely with developers and product teams to resolve issues.
- Provide recommendations for product improvements.
Requirements
- Experience in software testing, QA, or technical documentation.
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
- Ability to write clear and concise documentation.
- Familiarity with POS systems, retail operations, or restaurant technology is a plus.
- Experience with bug-tracking tools and test case management.
- Strong communication and organizational skill
