Sales Development Rep

Buckhead Recruiting Company (BRC) is a boutique executive search firm specializing in Sales/GTM and Tech/Engineering talent for Seed–Series C startups. We work with high-growth companies across the country and are building a world-class team to match. Our office is in Houston's Galleria area and we're growing fast.

The Role

We're looking for a driven, hungry SDR to join BRC and help fuel our business development engine. This isn't a typical sales role; you'll be working alongside the Founder & CEO to identify and engage startup founders, GTM leaders, and hiring teams across our target markets. You'll learn executive recruiting from the inside out, with a real path to promotion for the right person.

What You'll Do

  • Research and identify target companies and contacts using tools like Apollo.io and LinkedIn
  • Execute outbound prospecting via email, LinkedIn, and phone to generate client and candidate pipeline
  • Qualify inbound leads and schedule discovery calls for the recruiting team
  • Maintain clean, accurate records in our ATS and CRM (Salesforce/Lynxsoft)
  • Support candidate outreach and coordination across active searches
  • Assist with marketing efforts including LinkedIn content, campaigns, and list building
  • Track outreach activity and report on pipeline metrics weekly

What We're Looking For

  • 1–2 years of sales, recruiting, or business development experience preferred — recent grads with strong internship backgrounds will be considered
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills — you can write a crisp cold email and hold a confident conversation
  • Self-starter mentality with high accountability and attention to detail
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, small-team environment where no two days look the same
  • Familiarity with LinkedIn, Apollo.io, or similar prospecting tools is a plus
  • Genuine curiosity about startups or the world of sales and GTM

Compensation & Details

  • $18/hour, full-time + Commission
  • Hybrid at our Galleria office
