Event Management Intern
Working directly with the President and senior staff on completing various tasks in connection with the planning, management and implementation of EW Group’s event campaigns. A sample of EW Group campaigns/events include national and local Walk campaigns for clients like St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, and the Alzheimer's Association, as well as and higher education events including NYU’s Grad Alley & Commencement.
Interns will be delegated real responsibilities and ownership of projects and events. EW Group intern experience provides excellent resume content, potential job reference, and possible consideration for a full-time position with EW Group following graduation.
We are looking for individuals that show a strong desire to learn and/or enter the exciting field of event management and marketing. Skills required include: Enthusiastic personality, very organized, detail-oriented, flexible, “do whatever it takes” attitude, computer savvy (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint), capable of handling multiple tasks at once, prepared for some physical labor at events, good performer in pressure situations, not timid on telephone, good writing and proofreading skills, proficient in social media.
EW Group's interns will wear numerous hats, be responsible for many tasks and be exposed to all aspects of event planning and management.
