Communications and Marketing Intern
Responsibilities:

Content Creation & Curation:
- Develop engaging and compelling content for SVPAZ’s social media channels, including Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn
- Create graphics, videos, and other multimedia assets using tools like Canva or Adobe Creative Suite for use digitally and in print.
- Draft captions and posts that align with SVPAZ’s voice and mission.
- Attend SVP events to capture images, videos, and Partner comments.

Social Media Management:
- Schedule and publish content using social media management tools
- Monitor social media platforms for comments, messages, and engagement, and respond in a timely, professional manner.

Analytics & Reporting:
- Track and report on social media performance using analytics tools.
- Provide insights and recommendations to improve engagement and reach.

Community Engagement:
- Research and engage with relevant nonprofit and social impact accounts to foster collaboration and grow SVPAZ’s online presence.
- Support campaigns, events, and fundraising initiatives through creative social media strategies.
- Special projects, as needed.
Qualifications:

Education: Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a degree program in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field.

Skills:
- Proficiency in social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn).
- Experience with graphic design and video editing tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite).
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Knowledge of social media trends and best practices.
