World Cup Fan Hype Team Member
Join the excitement as we bring soccer energy to a major Orange County/Huntington Beach shopping center this World Cup season!
We’re looking for young, outgoing, energetic, soccer-loving hype people to engage guests, hand out swag, and create exciting surprise-and-delight moments throughout the property during our World Cup activation events.
Position Details
• Position: Part-Time World Cup Fan Hype Team Member
• Location: Orange County/Huntington Beach Sopping Center
• Event Dates:
◦ June 13 (2 hours)
◦ June 20 (2 hours)
◦ June 27 (2 hours)
◦ July 4 (2 hours)
◦ July 11 (2 hours)
◦ July 18 (2 hours)
• Shift Length: Approximately 2 hours per event
• Pay: $250 per event shift ($125/hour)
• Employment Type: Part-Time / Event Staff
Responsibilities:
• Create fun, high-energy surprise-and-delight moments inside stores, restaurants, bars, and common areas throughout the property
• Engage guests in spontaneous interactions that build excitement around the World Cup
• Hand out promotional swag and giveaways
• Encourage participation in games, activities, and fan experiences
• Grab attention, spark conversations, and help create a lively event atmosphere
• Represent the event team in a fun, positive, and professional way
What We’re Looking For:
• Extremely outgoing, personable, and high-energy personality
• Naturally confident interacting with strangers and large groups
• Comfortable being the center of attention and creating excitement in public spaces
• Strong communication and crowd engagement skills
• Reliable, punctual, and professional
• Passion for soccer, sports, entertainment, nightlife, or live events is a plus
• Must be available for all event dates listed above
Bonus Points If You:
• Have experience in promotions, brand ambassador work, events, hospitality, or entertainment
• Enjoy hyping up crowds and creating memorable guest experiences
• Have a fun, charismatic personality that draws people in naturally (looking for someone between the ages of 18-30 years of age)
