Immigration Content Intern
A creative internship inside a boutique immigration law firm — where compelling storytelling, brand strategy, and AI-powered tools come together to reach real people at pivotal moments in their lives.
This is not a coffee-and-scheduling internship. You will own our digital presence and build real deliverables from day one. Your primary responsibilities:
Content creation & editing
- Write, edit, and publish bilingual (English/Spanish) content — blog posts, FAQs, explainers, and social captions — covering immigration topics like adjustment of status, the Hague Convention, EB categories, and USCIS policy updates
- Translate complex legal language into clear, accessible content for a general audience
- Create short-form video scripts and graphics for Instagram Reels, LinkedIn, and TikTok
- Edit attorney-generated content for tone, accuracy, and SEO readiness
Social media management
- Manage and schedule posts across Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook, and TikTok using a content calendar
- Monitor engagement, respond to comments, and grow the firm's audience
- Design post graphics in Canva or Adobe Express aligned with the Emigra Legal brand identity (Pantone 294 / Pantone 200)
- Develop and execute campaigns around key immigration moments — visa bulletin updates, policy changes, USCIS filing deadlines
Website & digital marketing
- Update and maintain the firm's website (content pages, blog, attorney bios)
- Apply basic SEO principles — keyword research, meta descriptions, internal linking
- Draft email newsletters and legal alerts for the firm's client and prospect list
- Track analytics (Google Analytics / Meta Insights) and produce a monthly performance report
AI agent integration — the headline project
One of your core projects will be helping the firm deploy an AI-powered client interaction agent. This is real, meaningful work:
- Research, evaluate, and recommend AI chat and agent platforms suited to a law firm context (e.g., Tidio, Intercom, ChatBase, custom GPT integrations)
- Help design the agent's persona, tone, and knowledge base — grounded in immigration FAQs, firm services, and consultation booking flows
- Work with the attorney to define what the agent can and cannot do (legal ethics compliance, referral triggers, disclaimer language)
- Assist in deploying the agent on the firm's website and integrating it with social media DM automation (Instagram, Facebook Messenger)
- Monitor agent performance, identify gaps, and iteratively improve responsesWho we are looking for
