Marketing Lead

The Opportunity

A parent drops their child off at university and drives home with one question looping in their

mind: Is she safe?

Today, no single app answers that completely. One shows location. Another tracks flights. A

third sends campus alerts. None of them talk to each other. None of them have an AI that

understands the family.

Life360 built a massive business solving one piece of that — family location. Google Travel has

hundreds of millions of users and has never touched family safety. The market between them is

worth over $20 billion, and no one owns it.

Tripzi is building the platform that will.

Real-time family location, live flight monitoring, AI-powered campus safety alerts, proactive AI

family briefings, and full trip planning — one app, one experience, one AI assistant that

understands your whole family.

The product is live and in production. Real families are using it today. This is the first marketing

hire. You will work directly with the founder to define how the world discovers Tripzi.

What You Will Own

Story & Brand

· Define how Tripzi is positioned to parents of college students, traveling families, and investors

· Build messaging frameworks across every channel: app store, social, partnerships, press

· Establish the Tripzi voice — what it sounds like, and what it never sounds like

Community & Content· Build presence in communities where our users already are: parenting forums, college parent

groups, travel communities

· Drive real engagement on Reddit, Facebook Groups, TikTok, Instagram

· Produce blog and SEO content targeting family safety and travel planning

· Own App Store and Play Store listings, screenshots, and preview videos

· Use AI-assisted content production tools fluently and creatively

Growth

· Design and activate referral and invite mechanics built into the product

· Build onboarding sequences (email and push) that convert new users

· Develop micro-influencer and creator partnerships in parenting and family travel

· Lead App Store Optimization to drive organic installs

· Build paid acquisition strategy and creative direction as budget becomes available

Investor Narrative

· Track and present growth metrics, channel performance, and cohort data

· Build the slide that convinces investors we know how to acquire families at scale

Who We're Looking For

You don’t need a decade of experience — you need to have built real things and grown real

audiences.

Core Requirements

· 1–3 years in marketing, growth, or content for a consumer product (app, brand, or platform)

· Experience running or contributing to a community that actually grew (Reddit, TikTok,

Discord, Facebook Groups)

· Strong writing ability across different audiences — a worried parent reads differently than a

frequent traveler· Fluent with AI tools for content, creative, and research

· Data-driven instincts — you set targets, track honestly, and adjust quickly

· Hunger to own decisions, not just execute tasks

Bonus Experience

· Grew a TikTok or Instagram account in parenting, family, or travel

· Experience with App Store Optimization

· Ran any kind of product or app launch (even a side project)

· Relationships with micro-influencers (10K–200K followers) in parenting or travel

· 1.5–2.5% equity (4-year vesting, 1-year cliff), granted before funding closes
