Job Summary

We are seeking a driven Sales Consultant to grow our presence by building strong relationships with local merchants. In this role, you’ll be on the front lines—prospecting, presenting tailored payment solutions, and closing new business while supporting clients through a seamless onboarding process.

This is a commission‑only role designed for motivated professionals who value flexibility and autonomy. You’ll have the freedom to work at your own pace, manage your schedule independently, and earn based on your performance. Responsibilities

  • Prospect and generate new business through cold calling, door-to-door visits, referrals, and networking
  • Identify merchant needs and present tailored payment processing solutions (POS systems, credit card processing, dual pricing, etc.)
  • Conduct in-person sales presentations and product demonstrations
  • Close new merchant accounts and meet or exceed monthly sales targets
  • Guide merchants through the application, underwriting, and onboarding process
  • Build and maintain strong relationships to drive referrals and long-term retention
  • Maintain an active sales pipeline and track activity in CRM systems
  • Stay informed on industry trends, pricing models, and competitor offerings
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth installation and activation of services
  • Provide post-sale support and follow-up to ensure customer satisfaction and account growth

Qualifications

  • No prior merchant services experience required — we welcome entry-level candidates eager to learn sales and the payments industry
  • Strong interest in sales, business development, and working with local businesses
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and present solutions confidently
  • Self‑motivated professional with strong time‑management and organizational skills
  • Goal‑driven and ambitious, with a proven ability to meet and exceed performance targets
  • Willingness to learn credit card processing, POS systems, and industry fundamentals (training provided)
  • Comfortable with face-to-face interactions, prospecting, and cold outreach
  • Reliable transportation and ability to travel locally for field sales
