Aesthetic Record is a HIPAA-compliant Electronic Medical Records (EMR) system and complete Practice Management solution created for Medical Spas, Dermatology, Plastic Surgery and Wellness Clinics. We integrate full charting capabilities with HIPAA-compliant, fully integrated Telehealth, high-quality before and after photos and videos, complete point-of-sale transacting, full online booking, inventory & supply chain management, patient loyalty administration, 3rd-Party CRM integration and end-to-end key performance indicator (KPI) reporting. In addition, Aesthetic Record operates the Aesthetic Record Marketplace, Aesthetic Next, For The Record podcast, LeadAR, Aesthetic Next Productions, & AR Sync.
About the Role
In this 12-week internship, we are looking for a graphic designer with a strategic mind, creative soul, and passion for storytelling. This person will be using the Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, Canva, Veed.io, and other design tools as they help us bring our ideas to life. Attention to detail and the ability to manage several projects is needed to thrive in this role. Senior creative staff will establish your project scope and set deadlines for each piece; managers will review your work and suggest edits before final publication. Your goal will be to create cohesive pieces that promote our products and services to a broad public audience.
The Graphic Designer will report to the Chief Growth Officer. The Marketing Department aims to transform the customer experience by translating our brand promise to customers via data-driven intelligence and smart design.
Your Impact and Contribution:
As a Graphic Designer, your primary role will be working hand-in-hand with our internal teams to produce widespread marketing needs, such as emails, flyers, templates, merchandise, and more. You will act as a resource across our different departments and lead critical internal and external branding efforts across various channels and mediums.

Key Responsibilities:
Under supervision and supported by training, the Graphic Designer will be required to:
- Manage and consistently update the brand’s website and social media presence
- Design graphics for various types of media, such as print ads, social media, websites, and more
- Create social media visuals and content including text, graphics, photos and videos
- Participate in design discussions and give feedback during planning and strategy meetings
- Collaborate with the creative team to develop visual marketing strategies and campaigns
- Communicate with internal clients to understand their needs and requirements
- Develop and maintain the company's visual brand guidelines
Required Skills and Abilities:
- Google workspace
- Familiarity with design software and technologies (Adobe creative suite, Canva)
- Comfortable working with people, taking direction, and contributing ideas
- A keen eye for aesthetics and details
- Demonstrated ability to capture a vision through visual creativity
- Ability to work in a fast pace environment, able to multitask and meet tight deadlines
- Familiarity with navigating social media
- Willingness to travel when needed
Preferred Skills & Abilities:
- General understanding of UI/UX principles
- Basic video editing skills
- Experience creating motion graphics or working work existing templates (ie, Envato Elements)
- Experience photographing and editing people and products
