Social Media Intern
Social Media Intern — Texas Standard | Austin, TX
Texas Standard is a modern Western clothing brand built in Austin. We're growing fast, and we're looking for a creative, hungry intern to help us tell that story online.
The Role
This is a paid, part-time internship (roughly 15 hours per week) working directly with our marketing team. You'll get your hands on real work across social media, content creation, and creative projects. No busy work. If you're trying to build a portfolio and learn how a brand actually operates, this is a good place to do it.
What You'll Do
- Help create and post content across Instagram and TikTok
- Assist with shooting and editing Reels, stories, and static posts
- Support campaign launches, collab drops, and seasonal pushes
- Engage with our community — comments, DMs, and beyond
- Pitch in on design tasks and broader marketing creative as needed
- Bring fresh eyes and ideas — we want to hear them
What We're Looking For
- Some experience with Instagram and/or TikTok — personally or professionally
- A good eye and a genuine interest in visual storytelling
- Comfortable with a camera and in a basic editing app
- Strong writing instincts — short, sharp, human
- Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a relevant program (marketing, communications, design, film, etc.)
- Based in Austin and able to come in regularly
