Social Media Manager (Part-Time Contractor)

Next Chapter Industries is seeking a creative and self-motivated student to manage social media for a South Bay-based fiction writer working across novels, film, and television.

This is a part-time independent contractor role, approximately 3-4 hours per week, with flexible scheduling. Compensation is based on experience.

Responsibilities:

  • Build and manage author social media presence across platforms (Instagram, TikTok, X)
  • Create engaging content that reflects the author's dark, provocative storytelling brand
  • Grow audience and engagement organically
  • Report on performance metrics monthly

Qualifications:

  • Experience managing social media accounts (personal or professional)
  • Strong creative writing and visual storytelling skills
  • Self-directed and able to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Passion for storytelling, entertainment, or the arts a plus
